The opportunity

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to help guide our growing technical organization. This is a pivotal role where you will lead a team of four or more engineers, serving as a bridge between high-level strategy and daily execution. You will partner closely with our product, design, and operations teams to solve real-world problems that impact homeowners. Because we operate in a complex financial space, you will provide the technical leadership necessary to maintain our robust backend architecture while fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.

A day in the life

• You will mentor and develop a talented group of engineers, setting high standards for code quality and architecture design through hands-on guidance.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to define and execute research and development strategies that deliver meaningful business value.
• You will refine our internal processes and use data-driven insights to ensure your team remains effective and impactful as we scale.

Who you are

You are a leader who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and has a proven track record of building high-performing teams. You bring at least four years of software engineering experience, ideally with a background in technical leadership or management. You are comfortable working with our core stack, which includes Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform. You possess excellent communication skills in English and have a passion for solving complex technical challenges while empowering those around you to do their best work.
