About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a visible leader responsible for scaling our platform and supporting a high-performing team of engineers. This is a player-coach position where you will balance people management with hands-on technical contributions. You will serve as a mentor to your team while acting as a strategic partner to our leadership, guiding technical architecture and ensuring our systems remain reliable as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of our product roadmap by partnering with the product team to define scope, manage technical debt, and maintain high quality standards.
• Guide architectural decisions for our scalable web applications, ensuring our systems support business growth while maintaining performance and data accuracy.
• Foster team growth through regular mentorship, career development planning, and the cultivation of an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including 1 to 2 years in a formal management or technical leadership capacity.
• Deep expertise in technical architecture and system design, specifically with modern web applications.
• A proven history of managing product roadmaps and delivering reliable, customer-facing solutions in fast-paced environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead with empathy and collaborate effectively across different departments.
• The ability to work independently while staying aligned with our company objectives and engineering vision.

Location

This position is based in the United States and follows a hybrid work model, with expectations to be in our NoHo office 3 to 4 times per week.
