Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This position is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States who are ready to lead with empathy and technical expertise to drive meaningful social impact.

What you'll need
We are looking for a compassionate leader who balances technical rigor with a deep commitment to our mission. You should have at least 7 years of experience in software engineering or management, including a minimum of 1 year in a people management role. You must be fluent in English and possess the following qualities:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships and facilitate complex decision-making.
- Proven experience in building and leading diverse teams while fostering an empathetic, inclusive workplace.
- Technical proficiency in developing secure, privacy-focused web applications and a solid understanding of software architecture.
- A demonstrated ability to lead by influence, mentor reports, and set clear standards for documentation and engineering best practices.
Perks and compensation
