Engineering Manager at Trustpilot

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. At Trustpilot, our mission is to act as the universal symbol of trust by connecting consumers and businesses through reviews. Since our founding in 2007, we have grown to support over 67 million monthly active users and host more than 300 million reviews. We are currently seeking a leader who can help us maintain this momentum by building scalable products and fostering a high-performing engineering culture. This role is available on a hybrid basis, offering you the flexibility to balance office collaboration with remote work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major technical initiatives while balancing rapid development with sustainable engineering practices.
• Manage and mentor a team of skilled engineers, setting clear expectations through consistent feedback and dedicated one-on-one coaching to support their professional growth.
• Coordinate across departments to define project deliverables, manage risks, and ensure that our technical solutions meet both business goals and customer needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong technical background combined with proven leadership experience. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Several years of experience in Engineering Management with a focus on developing and retaining talent.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• A deep understanding of Agile Methodology and experience working with high-volume, scalable systems.
• Proficiency in modern development practices, including API technologies and front-end development for web and mobile.
• Familiarity with our core technology stack, which includes TypeScript, Node.js, C#, React, and DynamoDB.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive alignment across diverse teams.
