Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Software Engineers while working closely with Product Managers and Designers.
- Coordinate project prioritization and execution to ensure we deliver high-quality features for our customers.
- Build and maintain scalable processes that allow for iterative, incremental development.
- Set a high standard for technical ownership and code quality across our services.
- Collaborate with other engineering managers to improve our systems, craft, and agile practices.
- Actively participate in the recruitment and hiring process to help build our engineering team.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Must-haves
- At least 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager with a proven track record of technical delivery.
- Strong proficiency in Golang, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Solid understanding of web and mobile development technologies along with API-driven architectures.
- Demonstrable experience in roadmap planning and project prioritization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Experience working within Agile or Lean development environments.
Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $205,000 to $220,000 per year.
