Role at a glance

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a management-level position where you will work in a remote capacity from anywhere. You will play a pivotal role within our Carrier Configurations Team, helping us maintain the tools that allow our users to manage their carrier interactions with ease.

• Build, lead, and grow a high-caliber team of software engineers while staying hands-on with technical challenges.

• Collaborate closely with product management, architects, and business stakeholders to define requirements, guide architectural vision, and prioritize delivery efforts.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be a strong communicator with a passion for customer success and a deep technical background. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of hands-on engineering management experience, including performance management and stakeholder engagement.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience with backend frameworks like Django or FastAPI.
• A solid understanding of object-oriented programming and architectural patterns.
• Practical experience integrating with REST and gRPC APIs.
• A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
