About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide technical leadership to our squads of software engineers. We need someone who is comfortable working in a high-growth environment while maintaining a strong commitment to quality. You will remain hands-on enough to pair with engineers while focusing on coaching, professional development, and technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor engineers by providing actionable feedback to help them reach their professional development goals.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other leaders to balance immediate business outcomes with long-term team growth and project resourcing.
• Guide the team through complex, ambiguous technical challenges while ensuring our infrastructure remains scalable, cost-effective, and maintainable.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have significant experience in software engineering and a strong grasp of our core technology stack, which includes Node.js, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL. We utilize Google Cloud Platform, follow Functional Programming principles, and implement Event Sourcing across most of our applications. We value candidates who prioritize best practices such as TDD and CI/CD. Strong emotional intelligence is essential, as you will be responsible for diagnosing skill gaps and fostering a collaborative, psychologically safe team culture.
