As an Engineering Manager, you’ll take ownership of team success, deliver impactful technology solutions, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering leadership to ensure alignment, scalability, and quality in our solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Strong delegation and leadership skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.  
• Provide line management, ensuring team engagement, career growth, and performance.
• Work with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering Directors to align priorities and refine backlogs.
• Ability to quickly grasp business domains and understand customers.   
• Drive backlog management and roadmap planning, balancing technical improvements with business priorities.
• Translate epics into actionable tasks and create realistic delivery plans.
• Ensure maintainability, security, and operational excellence in your team’s solutions.
• Promote Agile practices and encourage continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with other teams to manage dependencies and resolve blockers, even remote teams.
• Keep stakeholders informed of any shifts in priorities or deliverables.

• Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and achieving results.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive and organized, with a passion for coaching teams to overcome challenges.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills to inspire and represent your team effectively.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly grasp business domains and customer needs.
• Documentation: Ensure that both customer-facing and technical documentation are up-to-date.  
• Technical Excellence: Work with Technical Architects and tech principals to adopt best practices and explore new tools. Ensure the maintainability, operability, security, and profitability of the team's solutions.
• Language: Fluent English communication skills.

What we consider an advantage

• Solid technical background and understanding in software development or related fields.
• Experience with modern software practices and tools.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and related technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning or specific expertise in retail or manufacturing sectors.
