The opportunity

As an Engineering Manager, you will step into a pivotal role where you lead our talented engineering team. Your purpose is to provide technical guidance and mentorship while shaping our strategic direction. You will be at the heart of solving intricate scale architecture problems, working alongside various departments to design and build core product features that help our customers predict and prevent cyber breaches. This is a full-time, on-site position for a senior leader who is ready to influence our growth and technical excellence.

A day in the life

• You will lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and collaboration while conducting regular performance evaluations to support their professional growth.
• You will define and execute the technical roadmap for your team, ensuring that our architectural decisions align perfectly with our broader business objectives.
• You will stay hands-on by conducting thorough code reviews and troubleshooting complex technical issues, ensuring that everything we ship meets our high standards for quality and performance.

Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with a passion for building high-performance platforms. You possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field and bring at least 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a management role where you successfully coached teams of 4 to 6 people.

Your technical toolkit includes:

• Profound expertise in server-side languages such as NodeJS, Python, or Go.
• A strong grasp of modern web frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically regarding performance optimization at scale.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English while guiding developers toward technical excellence.
