We are Grata, the premier dealmaking platform for the private market. Our technology empowers investors, consultants, and corporate teams to discover and engage with private companies through our extensive, proprietary database. With over 700 customers and recognition as a market leader by organizations like G2 and PE Wire, we are scaling rapidly. We are currently seeking a Full Time Engineering Manager to join our team in a hybrid capacity. Based in New York City, you will help us bridge the gap between technical execution and our broader business goals while fostering a high-performing culture.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, focusing on their professional development and career growth.
Manage the delivery of our product roadmap while balancing management duties with hands-on coding tasks.
Partner with Product Managers to optimize our engineering processes and ensure we maintain high standards for performance and scalability.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role within an engineering team.
A deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle and modern full-stack principles.
Technical proficiency with our core stack, which includes Python, Django, React, AWS, and Elasticsearch.
A proven track record of guiding teams through complex application development projects.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to building collaborative, high-quality engineering environments.

What we offer
