Engineering Manager at Keeper

We currently support thousands of accounting professionals across the United States, and we are looking for a dedicated leader to help us scale our impact.

The role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a management-level position designed for someone who wants to accelerate our product development while fostering a high-performing engineering culture. You will play a pivotal role in helping our customers deliver better financial clarity to the small businesses they serve.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure high-quality execution and solve complex technical challenges.
• Guide the team through difficult decisions that require balancing delivery speed, code quality, and system complexity.
• Act as a force multiplier by unblocking engineers, supporting their professional growth, and actively contributing to our internal culture.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience building production-grade SaaS software.
• A proven track record of effective people leadership within an engineering organization.
• Strong proficiency in writing type-safe code using TypeScript.
• Experience with our core stack, which includes React, Redux, Node.js, Express, TypeORM, Postgres, and AWS.
• Previous experience in hiring and scaling engineering teams is considered a significant plus.
