About the Role
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide strategic direction and technical guidance to a group of talented engineers. You will be responsible for balancing hands-on management with people development to ensure we continue to deliver high-quality, impactful software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team by fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and continuous technical growth.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from initial planning and technical scoping to successful delivery within established timelines.
- Act as a primary bridge between engineering, product, and design teams to ensure our technical vision remains aligned with broader business objectives.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in software development, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Strong technical proficiency in Java and a proven history of managing complex projects within an Agile environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to mentor team members and support their career development.
- A strong balance of technical depth and business acumen.
- Bonus points for experience in the data analytics industry, familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and an understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Location
This position is based in Egypt and requires an on-site presence.
