What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join our founding team on a full-time basis. Based in the United States, you will serve as the first manager on our engineering team, acting as a key partner to our CTO while shaping our technical vision and product execution. Your role will involve a mix of leadership, architecture, and hands-on development using technologies like Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and GCP.

• Lead, hire, mentor, and retain a team of high-performing engineers.
• Architect and oversee the development of our applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product, Design, Sales, and Operations to drive a best-in-class service experience.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with at least 3 years of experience managing high-performing software teams and 7 years of professional software engineering experience. You should be comfortable working in an early-stage environment where ambiguity is common and speed is essential. We value candidates who possess deep technical expertise in API design, data modeling, and distributed systems. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be responsible for documented planning and transparent feedback. We are looking for someone who is customer-obsessed, resilient, and eager to build scalable, robust production solutions.
