We operate a fast-growing, post-Series C marketplace that connects healthcare facilities with on-demand talent. Since January 2021, we have grown more than 20 times over, and we are looking for a dedicated Engineering Manager to help us continue this trajectory. We are a globally distributed team that values ownership, urgency, and customer centricity, and we empower every member of our staff to solve problems and drive meaningful change.
What you'll be doing
- You will lead and manage your engineering team, taking full ownership of processes, execution, and the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- You will partner closely with product managers and customers to define roadmaps, ensuring that our technical priorities align perfectly with business objectives and user needs.
- You will provide technical leadership by reviewing architecture and design documents, offering coaching to your team, and maintaining a high standard for our technical output.
What you'll bring
- You have at least 6 years of experience in software development, including 2 or more years in a leadership role as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Founder.
- You possess deep expertise in performance management, with the ability to provide direct feedback and support the professional growth of your team members.
- You are a strong communicator who can translate complex technical concepts for various stakeholders and navigate difficult conversations with clarity and confidence.
- You bring a proven track record of managing agile teams in fast-paced, remote environments.
- You are fluent in English and comfortable working across different time zones.
- You have a solid foundation in system design and software development, allowing you to contribute effectively to technical discussions and problem-solving.
