The opportunity
Our Supply Chain Security group is redefining how software and artifacts are secured by taking a developer-first approach. We are building an end-to-end solution for the container ecosystem, focusing on automation and ease of use from the inner loop all the way to production. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead our team dedicated to Docker Hardened Images. You will oversee the security of container images and the systems that build them, working closely with technologies like BuildKit, GitHub Actions, Docker Scout, and Linux distribution packages. This is a unique chance to shape the future of supply chain security while directly impacting the experience of our global customer base.
A day in the life
- You will lead a distributed team of engineers across Europe and North America, ensuring the successful development and maintenance of Docker Hardened Images.
- You will partner with leadership to translate our product roadmap into actionable priorities and a clear backlog for your team.
- You will foster the professional growth of your team members through active mentorship, performance management, and by facilitating effective agile ceremonies.
Who you are
You are an experienced engineering leader who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment. You possess a deep understanding of container security and the software supply chain, including concepts like CVEs, cryptographic signing, and repeatable builds. You are fluent in English and have a proven track record of managing agile, distributed teams. You are comfortable performing architecture and code reviews, and you have a genuine obsession with enabling your engineers to deliver high-quality value to our customers.
