Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a full-stack software engineering team while fostering a culture of high performance and positivity.
- Collaborate with product managers across Europe and North America to shape and execute the roadmap for our Universal Back Office platform.
- Oversee platform architecture and ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet key business objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional groups, including Data Analytics, QA, and infrastructure teams, to identify opportunities and solve complex problems.
- Recruit top-tier engineering talent and maintain clear career paths for your direct reports.
- Review technical requirements with architects and leads to ensure high quality and efficient task breakdown.
- Manage trade-offs between scope, time constraints, and engineering capacity during critical project phases.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- A minimum of 2 years in a management role leading software engineers.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and CSS, with a solid background in web development and architecture.
- Proven track record of recruiting, retaining, and developing high-quality engineering talent.
- Experience coordinating work within globally distributed, multi-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
