The role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Product Led Growth initiatives. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located anywhere. As a manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy by leading a team of engineers focused on rapid prototyping, experimentation, and feature development to drive organic growth. You will be responsible for guiding your team through complex technical challenges while ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality solutions to our global user base.

Core responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers, focusing on their professional development and individual performance tracking.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Data Platform teams to define project scope, manage backlogs, and align engineering efforts with strategic growth goals.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, proactively managing technical risks and ensuring the team maintains a high standard of software quality.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in technical leadership and people management, particularly within remote or distributed environments. We look for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a people manager or team leader, with a track record of supporting remote teams across different time zones.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies and a history of working on products that serve a high volume of users.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• A customer-obsessed mindset with a drive to deliver results that exceed team boundaries.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
• While not required, experience with web development technologies like PHP, .NET, HTML, CSS, or TypeScript, as well as familiarity with public cloud providers like AWS or Azure, is highly valued.
