What you bring
We are seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead our efforts in SRE, infrastructure, developer experience, and our public-facing API. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located in the United States, Canada, or Mexico. You will be responsible for setting the vision for our platform, hiring top-tier talent, and ensuring our services remain reliable and performant for our customers. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Driving SRE initiatives to ensure high service reliability while partnering with other leaders to resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Scaling and optimizing our infrastructure to support our company's rapid growth.
- Enhancing the developer experience to boost productivity and happiness across our engineering teams.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with at least two years of experience managing platform, SRE, or infrastructure teams. We are looking for someone who combines technical depth in Ruby on Rails and APM tools with a genuine passion for mentoring and career development. You should be a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A background in building scalable APIs and a proven track record of attracting and retaining engineering talent are essential. Proficiency in English is required for this role, and we value candidates who demonstrate both business acumen and a commitment to engineering best practices.
