Role at a glance
We are seeking an Engineering Manager, Platform to lead and grow our Engineering Operations team. This is a full-time, hybrid position designed for an experienced manager. While we have a strong preference for candidates based in New York City or those willing to relocate, we are open to talent who can commit to our hybrid work schedule and travel for our team gatherings.
Your impact
- Lead the development of a best-in-class platform architecture that ensures the security, availability, and high performance of our clinical insights platform.
- Enhance the developer experience by spearheading CI/CD improvements and modernizing our SDLC, allowing our engineering team to deploy software faster and with greater quality.
- Mentor and coach our DevOps and Platform engineers, fostering their professional growth while overseeing the operational support of our critical infrastructure.
What you'll need
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, specifically with infrastructure as code, SDLC, and cloud operations.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- At least 2 years of direct experience managing engineering operations or platform teams.
- Strong technical proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to travel up to 6 times per year for company retreats and co-working weeks.
