We are currently looking for a full-time Engineering Manager, Platform to join our team in a hybrid capacity within Canada. In this role, you will lead and grow our platform engineering team, focusing on infrastructure, DevOps, and developer experience to ensure our systems remain scalable and reliable as we continue to expand.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of platform engineers while setting the technical direction for our infrastructure and developer tooling.
- Balance the need for rapid feature delivery with long-term investments in system reliability, observability, and security within our regulated environment.
- Collaborate with product engineering, security, and compliance teams to advocate for platform initiatives that directly impact our business goals and customer experience.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years spent in a management role leading and scaling technical teams.
- A strong technical foundation in platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE practices.
- Proficiency with modern tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, PostgreSQL, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps.
- Proven ability to manage production systems and support on-call rotations, combined with excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required to effectively support our customer base and collaborate across our team.
What we offer
