We are currently looking for a mission-driven Engineering Manager to join our Platform Infrastructure team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for designing and maintaining the robust technology infrastructure that allows our engineering organization to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a collaborative team of engineers while fostering a culture of high ownership and impact.
- Set the strategic direction for our infrastructure, focusing on long-term scalability, performance, and security requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient systems, deployment pipelines, and development tools using technologies such as AWS, Docker, Terraform, and Django.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a strong grasp of the AWS ecosystem.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in people management, specifically leading teams of 4 or more engineers.
- Proficiency with Git for version control and a proven track record of solving complex scaling challenges.
- A systems-oriented mindset that prioritizes pragmatic, holistic solutions over theoretical ones.
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to DEI best practices in leadership and recruitment.
