We're building the operating system for the modern cannabis industry, and we're looking for an Engineering Manager who can steer one of our most critical teams through the next phase of growth.
Role at a glance
This full-time Engineering Manager position leads our Retail Payments team on a fully remote basis. The role is open to candidates at the manager experience level and can be performed from anywhere.
Your impact
- Lead hiring, coaching, mentoring, and career development for a high-performing engineering team while building a culture that supports both collaboration and individual growth.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business goals into sustainable technical delivery and keep projects aligned with company priorities.
- Present clear updates on progress, risks, timelines, and milestones to teammates and C-level leadership, ensuring everyone stays informed and aligned.
What you'll need
You bring at least five years of hands-on development experience plus two or more years in an engineering management role. You have a track record of guiding complex technical initiatives to successful completion while keeping teams healthy and motivated. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you'll drive multi-stakeholder projects that require clear communication and shared ownership. Fluency in English is required. Experience with .NET, Ruby on Rails, Dart, or React, along with background in point-of-sale or financial-technology products, is a plus.
Perks and compensation
We are targeting a starting salary of $165,000, with flexibility based on individual experience and qualifications. In addition to cash compensation, our total rewards package includes full medical benefits with dental and vision coverage, equity in the form of stock options, a technology allowance, and flexible vacation and sick days.
