What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Payments and Trust team in a full-time, remote capacity from anywhere. In this role, you will oversee the platforms that allow our riders to pay seamlessly while simultaneously defending our community against fraud and bad behavior. Your work will directly influence our financial health and the safety of our users across more than 20 countries.
- Set and execute a long-term strategy for our payment and trust platforms to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Manage and coach a team of engineers while providing continuous feedback to foster their growth.
- Collaborate across departments like product, data science, and finance to solve complex technical problems that impact our bottom line.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering and at least 2 years of experience leading high-performing teams. We value candidates who possess strong analytical skills and the curiosity to uncover trends within large datasets. You must be an effective communicator capable of navigating cross-functional stakeholder relationships and managing external vendor partnerships. While not strictly required, deep domain expertise in the payments, trust, or fraud detection space is highly preferred. We are looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple high-priority projects with ease.
What we offer
