What you bring

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Payments and Trust team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is essential to our operations, as you will oversee the platforms that allow our riders to pay seamlessly while simultaneously defending our community against fraud and bad behavior. You will be responsible for the following:

• Developing and executing a long-term strategy for our payment and trust platforms to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Managing and coaching a team of talented engineers to foster a high-performance culture.
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners in product, data science, and finance to solve complex technical challenges that impact our global business.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a management position. We value candidates who have a natural curiosity and the analytical skills required to interpret large datasets. You should be a strong communicator capable of navigating relationships with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders alike. While not strictly required, deep domain expertise in the payments, trust, or fraud space will set you apart. We are looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple high-priority projects with ease.

What we offer
