What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Payments and Trust team on a full-time, remote basis. This role is central to our operations, as you will oversee the platforms that allow our riders to pay for their journeys while simultaneously protecting our community from fraud and bad behavior. You will be responsible for managing complex integrations and ensuring our financial systems remain robust across more than 20 countries.

• Develop and implement a long-term strategy for our payment and trust platforms to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Provide mentorship and continuous coaching to a team of talented engineers to foster high performance.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders in product, data science, and finance to solve technical challenges that directly impact our bottom line.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in software engineering and a minimum of two years in a management position. We value candidates who possess strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity for uncovering trends within large datasets. You must be an effective communicator capable of navigating complex relationships with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders. While not required, deep domain expertise in the payments or fraud prevention space is highly preferred. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple high-priority projects with ease.

What we offer
