Role at a glance

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our cross-platform mobile team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates with a strong management background. While we embrace a flexible work style, we prioritize intentional in-person connection, so occasional travel for team collaboration is part of the role.

Your impact

• Coach and mentor your team of iOS and Android engineers through regular one-on-ones, fostering their career growth and technical development.
• Drive engineering excellence by modernizing our technology, managing technical debt, and implementing industry-standard best practices.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to deliver high-quality features that improve the experience for our 2 million subscribers.

What you'll need

• 8 to 10 years of experience in software product development, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Deep technical expertise in at least one major mobile platform, either iOS or Android.
• A proven track record of leading complex, multi-month projects that span multiple teams.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage in high-level discussions regarding software architecture and technology choices.
• Experience collaborating across departments to balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic initiatives.

Perks and compensation

The salary range for this position varies by location. In the United States, the range is $129,000 to $240,250. In Canada, the range is $162,000 CAD to $239,750 CAD. Actual compensation is determined based on your specific experience, skills, and geographic market.
