We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Mobile Foundation team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our mobile applications remain world-class, overseeing everything from application architecture and release processes to observability and new feature development across our native platforms.
Key outcomes
- Lead and manage a talented team of Android and iOS engineers.
- Support the professional growth of your direct reports through regular feedback, career development coaching, and consistent one-on-one meetings.
- Refine our engineering and operational best practices to ensure our development processes remain efficient and effective.
- Define technical priorities and clearly communicate business objectives to inspire the team.
- Actively participate in our recruiting efforts to help scale our engineering organization.
- Provide technical guidance and design feedback through code reviews.
- Collaborate closely with product partners and fellow engineering leaders to plan roadmaps and resolve cross-functional blockers.
Requirements
- A strategic mindset with the ability to define technical direction across native mobile engineering.
- At least 6 years of experience as an engineer with a primary focus on mobile development for Android or iOS.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Engineering Manager role leading high-performing native mobile teams.
- Strong technical expertise that allows you to serve as a mentor to your team.
- Deep knowledge of current industry trends to guide the team in making sound decisions regarding frameworks and tooling.
- Proven ability to lead by setting clear context and fostering collaboration between design, product, business, and engineering stakeholders.
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of a high-quality consumer-facing application, including platform management, vendor coordination, and release cycles.
- Proficiency in English.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000. Final compensation is determined based on factors such as your specific skill set, depth of experience, and location.
