Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our IXL Mobile team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the United States. You will be responsible for guiding our mobile development strategy and fostering a high-performance culture for our iOS and Android applications.
Your impact
- Build and lead a talented team of engineers and leads to create world-class mobile educational products.
- Drive technical excellence from the initial design phase through to final release, ensuring our applications remain at the forefront of the education landscape.
- Mentor and coach your team members, fostering professional growth while keeping everyone aligned with our core mission and vision.
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience and 5 years of proven leadership.
- A Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
- Expert-level proficiency in iOS or Android development.
- Strong communication and time-management skills, paired with a genuine passion for coaching others.
- A deep interest in improving education through technology.
- Experience with SwiftUI is considered a significant plus.
- Fluency in English.
Perks and compensation
The base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $220,000, plus equity. We also offer the following benefits:
