The opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated Engineering Manager to lead our Identification and Verification team. This is a pivotal role where you will bridge the gap between high-level technical strategy and hands-on product development. You will guide our team in building robust, secure, and scalable solutions that define how we verify our global community. By balancing technical leadership with a focus on mentorship, you will ensure our systems remain at the cutting edge while empowering your team members to reach their full potential.

A day in the life

• You will architect and implement the technical roadmap for our ID&V platform, focusing on long-term scalability and security.
• You will mentor and coach your team, fostering an inclusive culture that encourages innovation and professional growth.
• You will bridge the communication gap between engineering, product, and design teams to translate complex user needs into effective, high-quality technical solutions.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with at least 7 years of experience in software engineering and a proven track record of building secure, scalable applications. You bring at least 3 years of management experience, having successfully led and motivated high-performing teams. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and are fluent in English. While experience in the ID&V space is a bonus, we value your ability to set technical direction and your passion for solving real-world problems. Familiarity with AWS and distributed systems is highly desirable, as is a desire to remain technically engaged through code reviews and architecture discussions.
