The opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our remote programming teams. In this role, you will be the bridge between our technical talent and our clients, ensuring that we deliver top-tier solutions that meet rigorous industry standards. You will not just be managing code, you will be mentoring engineers at various stages of their careers, helping them grow while you oversee the technical health of diverse projects across current-gen consoles and engines.

A day in the life

• You will conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback, while fostering seamless communication between our project managers, programmers, and external artists to ensure client satisfaction.
• You will lead and mentor a team of six to ten programmers, helping them navigate complex production challenges and upholding the high quality our clients expect.
• You will partner with project leads to identify technical risks, build robust production schedules, and develop the pipelines necessary to bring ambitious game concepts to reality.

Who you are

You are a passionate leader with a deep background in game development and a desire to help others succeed. You communicate fluently in English and bring the following expertise to our team:

• Significant experience in a leadership role within a game studio, including a proven track record of shipping or porting games on current-gen platforms like PC, Xbox, or PlayStation.
• Strong technical proficiency in C/C++, coupled with excellent debugging skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new codebases.
• A highly organized, self-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple remote teams and a willingness to travel internationally for about 10 to 15 percent of the year.
