Role at a glance
This is a full-time, remote position based in Brazil. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our front-end development efforts. You will be a vital part of our Developer Experience team, ensuring our integration layer remains simple, efficient, and accessible for our global merchant base.
Your impact
- Lead and mentor a high-performing technical team, fostering a collaborative environment while providing coaching to support individual career growth.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of development projects, from initial research and design to testing and final delivery, while keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
- Act as the primary bridge between product management and engineering, translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and project timelines.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a proactive leader with a strong technical foundation and a passion for building great products. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Proven experience in managing software development teams, including hiring, performance reviews, and daily planning.
- Solid technical expertise in JavaScript, Java, Swift, or Kotlin, along with experience using modern frameworks like ReactJS.
- A deep understanding of web systems design and UX-related projects for both web and mobile applications.
- Strong English communication skills, as you will frequently collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- A background in banking, financial technology, or payment processing is considered a significant plus.
