About the Role
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Fleet Maintenance team. This is a full-time, remote position where you will oversee the design, development, and delivery of features that empower our users to manage essential workflows like work orders, service entries, and inspections. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy while fostering a culture of excellence and mentorship within your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmaps, set clear objectives, and prioritize features that align with our business goals.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent by providing constructive feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting the professional growth of your team members.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and performant code by guiding your team through development cycles and advocating for engineering best practices.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring a blend of technical expertise and proven leadership experience. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams, either as an Engineering Manager or a Tech Lead.
- Strong technical background in web application development, specifically with Ruby on Rails and React.
- Prior experience working within a SaaS environment.
- A demonstrated ability to recruit, inspire, and retain high-performing engineering talent.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business outcomes.
Location
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
