What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Financial Servicing platform. This is a full-time, remote position that is open to candidates located anywhere. You will be responsible for guiding a talented group of engineers as we build systems to automate complex operational tasks, such as fraud detection, credit underwriting, and payment processing.
What will you do?
- Provide technical leadership by defining the platform roadmap, overseeing system architecture, and ensuring our services remain robust and scalable.
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance through regular coaching and career development.
- Drive project execution using agile methodologies while coordinating with cross-functional partners in product, finance, and compliance to ensure we meet our strategic goals.

To succeed in this role, you should be a seasoned leader with a strong technical foundation. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:
- Over 10 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in engineering management.
- A proven background in designing and scaling complex financial platforms and data processing systems.
- Deep expertise in architectural design, reliability, and modern software development patterns.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
- Fluency in English.
