We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Ledger and Recon Platform team in China. What you'll be doing

• Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers while fostering a high-performance, supportive, and inclusive work environment.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering projects, ensuring that our financial products are delivered with high quality and meet all business objectives.
• Act as the primary bridge between our engineering departments and the finance division to ensure our technical architecture aligns perfectly with complex accounting requirements.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in backend engineering and a passion for financial technology. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in a management or leadership role within an engineering team, ideally within the fintech or accounting sectors.
• Technical proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with the ability to provide strategic direction on system architecture.
• A solid understanding of accrual-based accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• A data-driven mindset and a proactive approach to solving security, scalability, and compliance challenges.
