About the Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager, Feature to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this executive-level role, you will lead the development of our core product features, ensuring that our front-end and back-end systems are not only high-performing and scalable but also intuitive for our users. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical roadmap and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of mission-critical front-end and back-end systems, ensuring they deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for our users.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers while fostering a culture built on cooperation, dependability, and technical ownership.
• Partner closely with our Product and Design teams to align on business goals, evaluate architectural designs, and ensure that every feature we ship meets our high standards for performance and usability.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong background in both leadership and hands-on technical architecture. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 10 years of professional experience, including significant time spent building front-end and back-end systems in cloud-native environments.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering management, specifically in hiring, managing, and developing engineers up to the staff level.
• Deep technical proficiency with React and micro-frontend architectures, alongside a working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and microservice design.
• Experience with AWS, GraphQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Python, Java, and Docker.
• Proven ability to own a technical roadmap and drive operational excellence, including site reliability and high-quality testing practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical details and high-level business strategy.
