We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Exploration team at O(1) Labs. Our company is the primary contributor to the Mina Protocol, a groundbreaking Layer 1 blockchain that uses zero-knowledge technology to compress the entire chain to the size of a few tweets, enabling full verification on mobile devices.

Responsibilities

Mentor and guide engineers to support their professional growth while fostering an environment of empowerment and high performance.
Design and implement team structures, cultures, and processes that prioritize collaboration, accountability, and transparency.
Ensure the team maintains deep technical expertise in our latest features and zkApp designs.
Communicate clearly how our proof systems, protocols, and SDKs interact to enable powerful zkApp functionality.
Partner with our Product, Marketing, and Business Development teams to create and execute effective engineering roadmaps.
Assist our Business Development efforts by supporting partner projects through our solutions architects.
Represent O(1) Labs as a thought leader by sharing insights and project updates with the broader community.

Must-haves

Proven experience in engineering management.
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Strong understanding of API abstractions and a commitment to high-quality developer experiences.
Familiarity with or a strong interest in blockchain technology, cryptography, and zero-knowledge proof systems.
Experience with research, implementation, or public-facing technical projects.
Fluency in English.
