What you bring

As a Senior Engineering Manager based anywhere in Europe, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a high-trust, high-autonomy environment. This is a Full Time, remote position where you will focus on building a team that thrives on ownership. Your work will involve utilizing technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, React, Apollo GraphQL, Postgres, and Redis. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Coaching individual contributors to take ownership of large, loosely defined projects and guiding them to deliver high-quality results.
• Providing thoughtful feedback on technical and product specifications to help the team improve quality and streamline scope.
• Staying hands-on with our systems by debugging customer issues, shipping small fixes, or improving our internal developer experience.

Requirements

We are looking for an empathetic and excellent communicator who is as passionate about management as they are about technology. You should have a deep understanding of what makes an exceptional engineer and how to nurture that potential. We value candidates who are courageous, principled, and willing to challenge the status quo when necessary. While we do not require specific years of experience, you must be comfortable holding in-depth technical conversations across the stack and possess a strong drive to build systems that help your team succeed. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
