About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager for DevOps to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will guide an engineering team dedicated to enhancing our infrastructure, automation, and overall developer experience. You will play a pivotal part in shaping our R&D efforts, working closely with our founders to ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and built for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor an engineering team to improve infrastructure and automation, ensuring our developers can deliver high-quality value to customers with speed and safety.
• Define clear goals, manage project timelines, and prioritize tasks to execute our technical roadmap effectively.
• Oversee and optimize our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform while enhancing our CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security and quality engineering.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 5 years of professional engineering experience, including 2 years in an engineering management role within an agile environment.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, including Google Cloud Platform, containerization, and web concepts like HTTP/S.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment.

Location

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. Please note that our roles require 10% travel, as we value gathering in person for yearly collaboration.
