At CoreWeave, we are redefining what is possible in the cloud. We serve as a specialized provider offering massive GPU compute resources built on the industry’s fastest and most flexible infrastructure. Our solutions power compute-intensive work like machine learning, AI, and visual effects, delivering performance that is up to 35 times faster and significantly more cost-effective than traditional public clouds. We are currently in a phase of hyper-growth, and we are looking for passionate people who want to help us build the future of high-performance computing.
The opportunity
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Developer Productivity Team. This is a pivotal role where you will build and guide a new team of 6 to 8 engineers from the ground up. Your mission is to ensure our internal engineering gears turn quickly and without friction. By focusing on the tools, platforms, and CI/CD pipelines that our engineers use every day, you will enable our entire organization to innovate faster and more effectively. You will be the bridge between our technical infrastructure and the people who use it, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
A day in the life
- You will shape the culture of your team, establishing how you support one another and how you provide value to the broader CoreWeave organization.
- You will act as a mentor and coach, creating an environment where your team members feel challenged, supported, and empowered to grow in their careers.
- You will collaborate with various engineering groups to identify bottlenecks and implement automated solutions, workflows, and standards that streamline the software development lifecycle.
Who you are
You are a seasoned leader who understands that the best engineering outcomes come from a foundation of empathy and clear communication. You have at least six years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, and you are comfortable leading diverse teams. You value a bottoms-up leadership style that prioritizes enablement over task management. You are proficient in English, organized in your approach to work, and comfortable using tools like Google Workspace and Notion to keep projects on track. Ideally, you bring experience with CI/CD tools, application packaging, and a deep interest in building scalable, reliable systems.
Why you'll love it here
We offer a base salary range of $210,000 to $230,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to competitive compensation. Beyond the paycheck, we provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Financial security through life insurance, disability insurance, and a 401k plan with an employer match.
- Support for your personal life with flexible paid time off and mental wellness resources.
- Opportunities for continuous learning through tuition reimbursement.
- The flexibility of a remote-friendly work environment.
