We are looking for a talented Engineering Manager to lead our Data Platform team and help us continue building the intelligence that powers our industry-leading relationship graph. You will report directly to the Director of Data and AI, working in a hands-on capacity where you will guide our technical strategy while remaining an active contributor to our codebase.
What you'll be doing
- Design and build robust data engineering systems and services that serve as the foundation for our machine learning and CRM teams.
- Lead complex technical discussions regarding architecture and product design while managing the delivery of our data products.
- Mentor and coach our engineers, identify team gaps, and implement processes that drive success and velocity.
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, remote environment and possesses a strong background in data engineering. You should be fluent in English and bring the following experience:
- Over 8 years of experience in software and data engineering, including leading complex projects across team boundaries.
- At least 3 years of experience in a formal management or technical lead role with a focus on mentorship.
- Hands-on expertise with Spark, Databricks, and Hadoop.
- Proficiency with AWS services such as Kinesis, as well as Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- A deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and distributed processing tools.
What you'll get
