We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Core Measurement team in designing and deploying the foundational data services and systems that power our platform.
Key outcomes
- Provide technical leadership by overseeing the output of the measurement product team and establishing high standards for architecture and testing.
- Directly manage a team of backend and data engineers, supporting their professional growth through feedback and career development.
- Collaborate with engineering managers and individual contributors to plan and execute key project deliverables.
- Coordinate across departments, including product management, marketing, and sales, to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Recruit and hire top-tier engineering talent to help us maintain our competitive edge.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least two years of experience managing and coaching a team of three or more direct reports within a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners like Product Management and Data Science.
- Experience building APIs and data products intended for external partners and developer ecosystems.
- A deep understanding of modern data stacks, including Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and lakehouse architectures, as well as cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or RedShift.
- Expertise in data observability patterns and the ability to define and measure Data SLAs.
- A track record of managing teams that operate high-volume distributed systems and data platforms.
- Demonstrated success in hiring and developing high-caliber engineering talent.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
