We have built a technology platform that breaks down the barriers of the fossil fuel monopoly, connecting hundreds of thousands of consumers and businesses to renewable options. With a valuation of $1.5 billion and $380 million in funding to date, we are now scaling our Arc SaaS platform to digitize the energy industry. We are looking for a passionate, empathetic Engineering Manager to join our team and help us build the future of the clean energy grid.
What you'll be doing
- You will coach, mentor, and empower a team of 5 to 7 engineers, focusing on their professional development while ensuring they deliver high-impact, mission-critical software.

- You will contribute to high-level technical discussions and architectural decisions to ensure our systems remain scalable and effective in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a deep commitment to people management. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 8 to 12 years of overall professional experience, including at least 3 years in an engineering management or team lead capacity.
- A proven ability to grow engineers through consistent feedback, goal setting, and career development.
- Strong proficiency in modern software development practices and experience managing production-grade, high-volume systems.
- Familiarity with our core technology stack, which includes Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, React, AWS, Kubernetes, SQL, Docker, and CloudFormation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our global team.

We offer a collaborative environment where your work directly contributes to a more sustainable planet. As a member of our team, you will receive:
- The flexibility of a hybrid work model.
- Comprehensive medical insurance covering you and up to five family members.
- Access to dedicated professional development and learning programs to help you grow your career.
