The role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Platform Core team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position, and we welcome candidates from anywhere. As a servant leader, you will guide our efforts in developing, deploying, and managing a robust multi-cloud platform. You will be responsible for ensuring our Kubernetes environments remain scalable, secure, and cost-effective while fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across our global organization.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high-quality Kubernetes clusters by focusing on simplicity and solving core technical challenges.
• Oversee the configuration of cloud services across AWS, GCP, and Azure, ensuring secure integration with identity management and cost-tracking systems.
• Champion the growth and development of your team through active coaching, mentorship, and the implementation of effective talent frameworks.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in cloud-native technologies and leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Proven experience managing cloud platform teams with a deep focus on Kubernetes.
• Hands-on expertise in managing the full lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters using tools like Rancher, ClusterAPI, or Anthos.
• Solid technical proficiency with Cloud APIs, specifically AWS combined with either GCP or Azure.
• A working understanding of FinOps principles to support sustainable and optimized workload growth.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and diverse organizational stakeholders.
