What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our Platform Infrastructure Group on a full-time, remote basis. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of Infrastructure and work closely with technical partners across the organization. Your primary goal is to ensure our development tooling and engineering practices are robust enough to support our long-term growth. You will provide technical leadership, lead complex projects, and contribute directly to our technical roadmap.
What will you do?
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in our system and codebases that hinder scalability, reliability, observability, or security.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to design and scale our provisioning processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with engineering teams and leadership to refine requirements, build new systems, and create development tools that increase our overall engineering velocity.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within the SaaS industry. We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and the ability to lead large-scale, organization-wide migrations. Key requirements include:
- Deep proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with Docker and containerization.
- Hands-on expertise with Bazel and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines for large monorepo codebases and service-oriented architectures.
- Familiarity with GCP is ideal, and experience with load-testing frameworks or people management is considered a significant asset.
What's in it for you?
We offer an engaging, remote-first culture where we prioritize your growth and well-being. Our benefits package includes:
- Equity compensation options.
- Comprehensive medical and dental insurance.
- A robust vacation policy, including additional company-wide closure days and flex time for personal needs.
- An annual learning and development budget to support your professional growth.
- A one-time home office setup budget and an annual lifestyle spending account.
- Generous parental leave benefits and retirement savings options with company matching.
