The opportunity
As the Engineering Manager for our Care Quality team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the tools and data infrastructure that help our providers deliver personalized, compliant, and effective care. You will lead a talented group of engineers, ensuring they have the support and guidance needed to foster deep connections with clients and drive positive health outcomes. This is a full-time, remote position that offers you the chance to make a tangible impact on a fast-growing team while solving complex problems in the mental health space.
A day in the life
- You will lead and manage a team of five or more engineers, providing direct mentorship and constructive feedback to help them grow in their careers.
- You will actively scale the team by participating in the hiring process to bring in new talent.
- You will collaborate closely with product managers and tech leads to define project roadmaps, launch new initiatives, and maintain the overall health and productivity of your team.
Who you are
You are an experienced leader who is comfortable navigating the complexities of a scaling startup. We are looking for someone who brings the following background:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, with a proven track record of leading teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.
- A total of 5 or more years in engineering, demonstrating deep technical expertise in building and scaling systems.
- Strong experience as a full-stack, frontend, or backend engineer.
- Technical proficiency with cloud services, distributed systems, relational databases, and building highly available services.
- A thoughtful approach to engineering tradeoffs and a genuine passion for setting your team members up for long-term success.
- Fluency in English.
