Grow Therapy is dedicated to becoming the primary partner for therapists building their practices and for patients seeking accessible, high-quality mental healthcare. We operate a sophisticated three-sided marketplace that connects providers, insurance payors, and patients. Since our launch in early 2021, we have supported over ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients nationwide. With more than $178 million in funding from prominent investors like Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, and SignalFire, we are scaling rapidly to address the urgent need for mental health support. We are looking for a mission-driven Engineering Manager to join our Care Quality team and help us build the tools that enable providers to deliver exceptional, personalized care.
Key outcomes
- Lead and manage a dedicated team of five or more engineers.
- Provide consistent mentorship, constructive feedback, and professional development to your direct reports.
- Drive the growth of the engineering organization through active recruiting and hiring efforts.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and technical leads to set the product roadmap, execute project launches, and maintain high standards for team health and performance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in an Engineering Manager role, with a proven track record of leading teams to deliver high-quality projects on schedule.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience, including building and scaling complex systems.
- Practical experience as a product engineer, whether in full-stack, frontend, or backend development.
- Technical proficiency in building highly available services, utilizing cloud infrastructure, managing relational databases, and working with distributed systems.
- Familiarity with modern observability practices and on-call rotations.
- A critical mindset that balances technical tradeoffs with broader company goals and team success.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation
