We are looking for a dedicated Engineering Manager to join us on a full-time, remote basis to lead our Cards Integration team. This group is responsible for the vital systems behind card issuance, transaction authorization, and network connectivity, ensuring that every financial interaction is handled with absolute precision.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a talented group of five senior and staff backend engineers.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of our core APIs that handle card issuance and transaction processing.
- Architect enhancements for our event-sourced ledger to ensure accurate and detailed historical record-keeping for every transaction.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership or management role, ideally within high-availability environments.
- A deep understanding of transaction processing systems and how card-based payments integrate with larger financial infrastructures.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to manage complex technical integrations.
- A proven track record of building cohesive, high-performing teams through empathetic mentorship and clear communication.
What we offer
We provide a highly competitive compensation package that reflects your expertise and location. Our target base salary ranges for this position are as follows:
- For employees based in the US: $237,600 - $279,500 USD.
- For employees based in Canada: CAD 216,200 - 254,300.
