Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Business Intelligence team. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates located anywhere. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our data warehouse and analytics strategy while managing a high-performing team of engineers.
Your impact
- Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers to ensure they reach their full potential while managing complex, fast-moving projects.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with data producers and consumers to influence best practices and drive organizational strategy.
- Deliver performant, cost-efficient, and reliable datasets that answer critical business questions and support data-driven decision-making across the company.
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of experience in business intelligence or data engineering roles with a history of supporting diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success managing and coaching at least 3 direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts, combined with excellent communication skills for presenting findings to executive leadership.
- Technical familiarity with our stack, which includes Python, Snowflake, DBT, Looker, Java, Spark, Kinesis, Airflow, and Postgres.
- An inherent sense of curiosity and a drive to use data to solve complex business problems.
Perks and compensation
The annual base salary for this position is $180,000 to $260,000, plus equity and a comprehensive benefits package.
