As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Business Intelligence Engineering team and shape the data infrastructure that powers our decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, defining roles and supporting their professional growth.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across product, finance, and marketing to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring datasets are timely, accurate, and cost-efficient.
- Drive the strategy for self-service analytics and promote data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
- Manage complex, fast-moving projects while maintaining high standards for code quality and engineering best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends in software development and data engineering to ensure our stack remains competitive.
Must-haves
- At least 7 years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles.
- Proven track record of managing and coaching a team of at least 3 direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience optimizing queries for large-scale business environments.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and modern data engineering best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to executive leadership.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working within our core technology stack, including Python, Snowflake, DBT, and Looker.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and big data tools such as Spark, Kinesis, Airflow, Java, or Postgres.
Benefits
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $180,000 to $260,000, depending on experience and location.
