We are currently looking for a full-time Engineering Manager to lead our Backend Connectors team in a remote capacity.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and hire a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous learning.
- Define and execute the development roadmap for data connectors while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on architecting scalable systems for processing diverse data formats and ensure high system reliability through effective oversight.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an engineering management role, with a strong ability to balance team dynamics, project timelines, and technical challenges.
- Deep technical expertise in backend systems, including proficiency with JVM-based languages, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and API standards like gRPC and REST.
- A demonstrated track record of solving large-scale data engineering problems and a genuine passion for staying current with emerging data technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and business objectives.
What we offer
